For the better just over a decade, Sandra was the lead vocalist with the award winning S.A. country band Cross Wind with whom she toured since the age of 18.

The release of her debut album in 2003 titled "Every Road", produced by "Bill Chambers", certainly created a little "talk" in the Country Music Industry!

In September 2003, Sandra was announced as "INDEPENDENT ARTIST/ ALBUM OF THE YEAR, for her Album "EVERY ROAD" at the Tasmanian and New Zealand Independent Awards held in Launceston.

Tamworth 2004, saw Sandra take home the coveted TIARA Award (Tamworth Independent Artist Recognition Award) - FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR 2004! As well as this she was nominated Top 5 for song writing for the song Every Road, co written with Fiona Holliday.

Sandra also received 2 Top 10 Nominations for the Victorian & National Country Music Awards for 2004.

2005, Sandra took home her second TIARA AWARD, for her Vocal Collaboration with Bill Chambers. The song " Love in the side" was written by long time friend Allan Webster for Sandra's Every Raod album.

2005, Sandra was invited to headline the New Zealand, Bay of Isalnd Country rock Festival, and from her perfomance at this Festival, she has now been invited back for a 3 week tour of the country.

With these great accomplishments from her debut solo album, a new album from Sandra was in Great demand.

October 8th saw Sandra release her much anticipated follow up album, entitled "Take the Pain Away". The release saw close to 400 people turn out on the night to see Sandra performing her new songs, alongside producer "Bill Chambers" and friend "Trev Warner".

What will happen with this new album remains to be seen, the first single & film Clip, for the song penned by Sandra,"Biggest Fool Around", will be released to radio & CMC in December 2005.
